The Baymont Inn & Suites in Lafayette, is NOT LOCATED on the north side of 26 near Timber Trail Drive as GIS/GPS shows. It is located just south of 26 in the southeast corner 26 and I-65 interchange. Staff have urged the manager to correct its electronic location (which Google lets you do now) but no action has been taken so far. The map IS correct on their official website however.
I suppose the hotel is nice enough in a budget business suite way like Hampton Inn -- clean, and mostly pleasant staff, free unprotected internet.
Also I requested a Non-Smoking room through orbitz, and Baymont put me in a SMOKING room without saying they had no n/s rooms left. If its already late, what are you going to do? But if all my luggage smells like smoke I will send them the dry-cleaning bill. Argh.
