Its Restaurant week here in Washington, so Carolyn and I are trying out the Bombay Club tonight. We had a wonderful time. First we went to Brooks Brothers and I finally bought a new suit. Then we had drinks at the Mayflower Town & Country Lounge - very classy Washingtonesque but pricey. The Bombay Club offered the best food and service I've had in years! I had shrimp and lamb from the restaurant week menu with white wine. Delicious. Mmmm.
