I've been the Secretary for the Road Gang for several years now, and it gets easier every year, like any job with an annual cycle. I've been at the Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) all week, attending meetings, making reports, and visiting with many old friends and colleagues, so I was exhausted by Thursday. But I was also looking forward to the Road Gang Annual Meeting on Thursday january 17th, after sending out notices, registering everyone, and securing the awards from Beltway Trophy. The Luncheon was a great way to conclude TRB. AASHTO's already posted a press release!
